CS-WIND: Self-Supporting System for Flat Roofs

Light and aerodynamic pre-assembled solution for flat covers without perforation.

Maximize stability and minimize weight on the roof

The CS-WIND system from C-Solar is designed for photovoltaic projects located on flat roofs where a self-supporting, non-penetrating, lightweight, and highly wind-stable solution is required.

Developed using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations, the system reduces the use of ballasts while maintaining optimized aerodynamics, even in demanding wind conditions.

Its silent-block type supports distribute loads evenly, protect the roof waterproofing, and reduce vibrations, ensuring structural safety and long-term durability. Fabricated in high-strength structural aluminum and stainless steel hardware, the CS-WIND offers quick assembly, minimal maintenance, and full compliance with the CTE and Eurocodes.

Benefits of the CS-WIND System

Ultra-fast assembly

Modular and pre-assembled system that drastically reduces installation times.

Certified aerodynamics

CFD optimization that allows forless ballastwith greater structural stability.

Compatible with low-load roofs

Suitable for Deck type roofs, sandwich panels and membranes with load limitations.

No drilling

Rubber supports protect membranes and prevent compromising waterproofing.

Certified engineering

Technical documentation available: structural calculations, aerodynamic validation, and technical data sheets.

Available Versions

The CS-WIND system is presented in three different configurations, designed to adapt to both energy production needs and structural requirements. These versions allow optimizing performance in South orientation, maximizing the daily curve in East-West configuration, or increasing structural rigidity through double support.

CS-WIND (South Orientation)

South-facing system to maximize capture during peak hours of the day.

Key Features:

  • Fixed tilt facing South.
  • Quick assembly with lightweight components.
  • Ideal for maximizing midday production.
  • Optimized aerodynamics with less ballast.

Recommended applications:

Roofs with low load-bearing capacity.

Roofs where perforations are not allowed.

Industrial and commercial self-consumption.

CS-WIND EO (East–West Orientation)

Variant for a balanced morning–afternoon generation curve, with high power density.

Key Features:

  • Double arrangement in East and West.
  • Stable production throughout the day.
  • Less shading between rows.
  • Higher installed power per surface area.

Recommended applications:

Projects looking to maximize total daily energy.

Installations with distributed consumption.

Roofs with limited space.

CS-WIND EO-TCS-DBL (East–West Double Support)

Reinforced version for EO configurations with maximum structural rigidity.

Key Features:

  • Double longitudinal rail.
  • Less deflection in large modules (182–210 cells).
  • Greater resistance to wind and snow.
  • High energy density with less shade.

Recommended applications:

Logistics roofs with large surfaces.

Areas with high wind.

Installations with large format modules.
